You Are the Change You Seek

So often we tell ourselves we are unworthy of the changes we seek. We instead lean on being the imposter or the people-pleaser to keep from creating tension. We blame our coping skills for not reducing our discomfort of us knowing we are not being the version of self we long for. And we end up suffering in silence.

This reality sucks because it comes from many sources of pain/trauma experienced many times in our lives. And it encourages realities that make it seem as though we are not enough or that we never will be enough.

And yet the opposite is true: you are enough as you are. You don't need to be incredibly extraordinary to be powerful, known, loved, cherished... anything you desire.

It starts by developing awareness of the patterns in our lives and the choices we actively make. From there, we can create more moments of joy, satisfaction, and goal achievement by using our power of choice to do things that actually work for us rather than doing things because we feel like we should. We recognize that we, right now, are the change we seek as we work to deprogram our thoughts, feelings, and emotions from external expectations that don't work to help us feel safe.
